Hello world!! I have an interesting yet disturbing fact to share with you. Did you know that over the last 30 years since the first known use of DNA as evidence in criminal court, there has been an average of 10 wrongful convictions overturned each month? In the United States 10 exonerations have occurred every month for the past 30 years! That's just in cases where DNA proved a convicted person innocent. Please share your thoughts.

False identification
Blog: Hey there World!! More unsettling facts to share with you. Did you know that 77% of all wrongful convictions are do to false identifications?? Ohio changed laws regarding procedures for handling photo and in-person lineups. Now the lead detective on a case cannot orchestrate the lineups like they did in my case. It was too easy for the detective to lead the witness to point out the detectives preferred suspect. New law came in effect too late to help me.

The fight continues
Good morning world!! Ready to fight my way through another day in the belly of the beast, while also fighting to obtain the release of evidence through public records request. We are in the appeal phase of that mission right now since the county is refusing to release requested taped interview with accusers, report from forensic analysis of bank surveillance video, and other evidence withheld by the state prior to my trial. Will keep you posted.

Public records
What is this post from Rich!? Is he visiting family grave site!?
Good evening World!! Today we are putting together a notarized letter to the office of public records clerk as we have sought the release of public files pertaining to the case. They have refused to turn over important records that the public is entitled to. Just another show of indifference towards justice. At any rate after they don't respond to out letter we will be able to go to "Claims Court" for an ORDER for them to do their duty. Such a shame we have to fight to get people to do their actual job.
Good morning World!! Waking up to a scorching Thursday morning at Marion Correctional Institution and plotting my strategy to navigate through the day. My routine was thrown off when the gym closed early. A good workout usually gets me started and puts me in a good mental head space. But in a place where not much goes as planned, must be ready to execute contingencies. Think I will meditate.
